Time Flies!

Well, Brady has been sick. I took a half day off work last Friday to take him to the doctor because I was afraid he was getting RSV since he had been exposed to it at daycare. The DR. said that his lungs were clear and it was a cold. He gave him some cough medicine, though so that helps him and me sleep. He has gotten good at pulling up in his play pen and he is still working on crawling on his hands and feet. Right now, he does the soldier belly-crawl. He pushed up on one of his toys and then didn't know what to do so he just fell back down. I'm taking him tomorrow to get his 8 1/2 month pics. We were going to go last weekend, but he was sick, and I knew that the pictures would be bad and Mike wanted to go to the Big Buck Classic anyway. It's amazing how fast time flies. I can't believe he is already 8 months. It's also hard to believe that School is more than half over. It's been really stressful the last few weeks, trying to teach everything that the kids need to do pass the benchmark and so many kids have been absent with colds and stomach viruses. It's so hard to find time to catch them up without falling further behind on everything else. Well, I will try to post some recent pictures this weekend. I have them on the camera but haven't uploaded to the computer. Mike is gone and the little boys are in bed so I've got to go grade some papers. Progress Reports go home on Friday.

A few more pictures

Tonight, I was finally able to feel and see Brady's two bottom middle teeth coming in. It's about time. He has been chewing for 4 months now. I decided that these teeth coming in has made him not have such a large appetite for his formula. It has been nearly impossible for us to get him to drink enough formula the past few weeks. I had to resort to mixing it in his food. However, the past couple of days he has drank more. He has gotten pretty vocal also. I think he is trying to say Ma Ma but it doesn't quite sound right yet. We discovered this week that he loves to play in his crib and he's starting to pull up on the crib rails. Another few weeks, I won't be able to slow him down. I can't believe he is already 8 months old.

Colby and Brady playing together. They are both such camera hams.

Brady the gift.

Getting ready for bed. It's been a long day. What a lap full!

Brady found the floor pony that was Colby's.

Colby got a family heirloom from his Aunt JoAnn. This saddle was his great-grandfather's, then his grandfather's (my dad), then my sister's and now has been passed on to him. He was excited about the saddle but doesn't quite understand it's importance yet.

Happy New Year

I'm just now getting around to posting Christmas pictures. Brady has started crawling a little. He is pulling himself with his arms and pusing with his legs. He's not quiet up on his hands and knees yet, but it won't be long. I guess I better spend this weekend babyproofing some more and figuring out how to contain him. He is after everything. He still doesn't have any teeth. He is constantly chewing. We are keeping the teething tablet and tylenol companies in business. I hope everyone had a great New Year's. I will post some more pics this week. It's bedtime and this computer is so slow.
