Crawling

Brady finally decided to Crawl on his hands and knees tonight. He has been trying for about a week but hasn't been able to get it all going at the same time. He also said "ah ah" for "da da" on Thursday when Mike got home from work.

Well, still haven't gotten the pictures uploaded. I had good intentions of doing that on Friday of our break but Mike surprised me by taking the day off and we took the kids to his parents for the night. He had arranged for me to get a manicure and pedicure and then we went out to dinner and stayed in Hot Springs until Saturday. It was really nice and some much needed adult time with no kids around. So least to say, I didn't get anything done all day Friday or Saturday. Then we went to church on Sunday morning and Sunday evening. On Monday, I had eight loads of laundry to catch up on and grade papers. So I stayed busy all day between feeding the kids and getting Brady down for a nap.

Today has been hectic. Brady picked up a cough and snotty nose again over the weekend. He was very congested this morning when I dropped him off at daycare. They ended up calling me at about 1:00 this afternoon and said he was crying a lot and was running a low fever (100.5). So I made him an appointment and left school at about 2:30. I wanted the Dr. to do a RSV test since he was exposed to it and pneumonia at daycare last week but he said he thought his chest sounded like bronchitis and put him on some antibiotics and cough syrup. He is feeling better with the motrin and medicine and seems to be sleeping pretty well right now. I hope that the medicine works because if it doesn't and he gets worse, I'll probably throw a big fit with that doctor ( it wasn't his usual doctor). Well, anyway, I better get to bed. Brady is going to my mother-in-laws tomorrow and Mike will have to leave earlier to drop him off so that I means I will be up about 30 minutes earlier. I had planned to stay home with him but we are supposed to have a big meeting with our Reading First Supervisor after school so I guess I should be there since my mother-in-law is available to babysit. Hopefully, Brady will be fever free by Thursday. I promise I'll try to get some pictures loaded sometime this week. Have a great week!

  1. Hey!!! Sorry Brady has has been sick. I hope he is feeling better. Can't wait to see new photos!
I'll see you on Monday. I am ready to see everyone and get back in the swing of things. I wish that I had told Mrs. W that I could not come back a week early, so I could have another week. I guess next week will be just as good as the next to get back.
